Before you buy a DennisMobile eSIM, it’s important to make sure your device supports eSIM technology. The quickest way is to look for something called an EID on your device.
Short guide
How do I know if my phone supports eSIM?
Check if your phone shows an EID (the unique number of the eSIM chip).
On iPhone: Dial
*#06#or go to Settings → General → About and look for EID.On Android: Go to Settings → About phone (sometimes under SIM status or Device info) and check for EID.
If you see an EID, your device supports eSIM. If not, DennisMobile eSIMs won’t work on that device.
Detailed guide
What is an EID?
EID stands for Embedded Identity Document.
It’s a unique number tied to the eSIM chip inside your phone or tablet.
If your device shows an EID, it’s eSIM-ready — which means you can use a DennisMobile eSIM.
How to Find the EID
There are two easy ways to check:
Method 1: Dial a code (iPhone / iPad only)
Open the Phone app.
Dial
*#06#.Your device details will appear on the screen.
Look for EID in the list. If you see it, your iPhone/iPad supports eSIM.
Method 2: Through Settings (iPhone & Android)
On iPhone / iPad
Open Settings → General → About.
Scroll down to find EID.
Optional: also check Carrier Lock. If it says “No SIM restrictions”, your phone is fully unlocked and ready for DennisMobile.
On Android
Go to Settings → About phone (sometimes under System or Device information).
Look for EID. On some phones, you may need to tap “Status information” or “SIM status” to see it.
If an EID is listed, your Android phone supports eSIM.
If You Don’t See an EID
If your phone doesn’t show an EID, it likely does not support eSIM, or the feature is restricted by your manufacturer or carrier. In this case, DennisMobile eSIMs won’t work on that device.
✅ Tip: Most modern iPhones (XS and newer) and many newer Android phones (Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, etc.) already support eSIM.
